A real operational or programme constraint.

A large engineering college needed its inherited network surveyed and upgraded ahead of greater cloud and network dependency. The scope included containment, redundant-service removal, 105 Cat6A points, 30 Cat6 points, cabinet replacements, new inter-cabinet fibre, access-point mounting, certification, patching and go-live support.

A controlled physical-infrastructure plan.

LGN mobilised eight engineers, repaired and reintegrated existing networks while adding new infrastructure, and coordinated the work around an operational education setting. The programme combined new build, migration and remediation rather than treating them as separate packages.

Evidence without overstating the result.

A planned six-week programme was completed in three weeks, creating additional time for the client’s technical migration. Supplied evidence records certified 10Gbps copper links to access points and fibre capacity of 40Gbps or more, subject to the installed design.

Every project is different. Timescales and performance figures are included as evidence for this specific supplied example, not as a guarantee for future work.

Apply the lesson to the next project.

These examples connect survey, route and cabinet decisions, workmanship, testing and documentation. If an upcoming project has similar constraints, LGN can review the brief and identify the evidence and controls that should be built into delivery.
